"Aphrodite" - "Nouveau" cable from FADEL ART
- or how to eliminate the stray capacitance effect

The Introduction
It required more than one year of extensive research and studies to create the new "Aphrodite" cable series from Fadel Art.

With this new cable series we give the fundamental answer, how to eliminate effectively the stray capacity effects for the signal transmission. As with all our former products we follow our basic philosophy to design cables which respect the nature of the sound and which ensure the coherence of the musical system. The brand new "Aphrodite" cables are a substantial innovation, both regarding the technical issues and the musical issues.

Silver better than Gold ?

The "GoldLine" speaker connecting system, especially in the updated Coherence version, is without any doubt one of the masterpieces from Jean Fadel. Now we present a new and very special version the "SilverLine".

While the "GoldLine" comes with two inner coductors made of silver tubes and an outer conductor made of a gold-plated copper tube, the outer conductor of the "SilverLine" is made of a silver-plated copper tube. Furthermore the bottem acrylic profile is replaced by a solid profile made of anodized aluminium.

The original objective for the conception of the "SilverLine" was to design an even more attractive looking version of the normal "GoldLine" system, which will be offered in a limited edition for the most demanding customers.

But certainly we have also listened very carefully to our latest design. Even though we assumed that there will be some sonic differences between the two versions, we were very surprised that in high end audio systems the new "SilverLine" version was significantly superior to the "GoldLine" version in the overall sonic performance.

In all respects the new "SilverLine" system represents - visually and sonically - the non-plus-ultra speaker connecting system from FADEL ART. In our opinion the "SilverLine" speaker connecting system is unrivaled and simply perfect.

Because of the extremely extensive fabrication the "SilverLine" system is made only in very limited quantities with a quite long delivery time. For this reason it can be purchased exclusively only by very few of the most demanding audiophiles.

„Reference Two“

The brand new top of the line cable series from fadel Art based on the unique “Silence Technology’’

After many years of research fadel Art has introduced the absolutely unique “Silence Technology” in the field of high end audio cables. But now and for the second time, after the introduction of the “Reference One’’ series in August 1998, fadel Art has paid high attention to the so called “Barkhausen phenomenon” in respect of the audio field. This phenomenon is indeed very important for sound program transmission and has a significant influence to the musical performance of any signal transmitting cable.

If a music signal is passing an electrical conductor an electro-magnetic field is created, resulting in two kinds of movements. First a mechanical movement of the whole conductor will happen, but second also a molecular movement inside the conductor will take place. Concerning the mechanical vibration of the whole conductor, many cable manufacturers take this in consideration in designing high quality audio cables, but no one has done so far something against the molecular movement inside the conductor. The new and unique “Silence Technology’’ from fadel Art is the first approach in the audio field to cancel the noise created by the internal movement of silver or copper molecules.

For our well-known “Reference One’’ cable series we used, in order to realize the “Silence Technology”, two kinds of cables from our product line, but with a completely different topology, which are combined in a very special manner. The brand-new “Reference Two’’ cable series refers to this construction, because the corresponding sonic results are really amazing. But this time we designed an all new construction, which combines the above mentioned qualities in a unique cable, with the result of a complete elimination of any kind of mechanical movements.

Furthermore it was also our objective to create a cable series similar to our “Coherence’’ philosophy in order to have a topology which allows us to make from the same basic cable interconnect cables, digital cables, duo speaker cables and power cords which have the same signal-speed as well as a very homogeneous sonic stage.

By the unique “Silence Technology” from fadel Art the entire internal noise in the cable is eliminated in a passive way, by which as a result absolutely no limitation of dynamics and absolutely no decrease of the signal-speed will take place. Furthermore for our ‘’Silence Technology” based cables the attenuation rate is the lowest we have ever measured in our laboratory.

The sonic results of our “Silence Technology” based cables and especially of our brand-new “Reference Two” series are nearly unbelievable. For the first time you will listen to the music with an absolute silence and you will have the impression that really no electronic equipment and no speakers are existing between you and the music. These cables will perform really a remarkable contribution to a new way of music listening.

The fadel Art Coherence One SC Duo
„The best speaker cable in the world“

The highly reputated German magazine „Stereoplay“ has published an exclusive test report about our top of the line speaker cable „Coherence One SC Duo“ in their latest issue 12/2003.

The result is really outstanding. The „Coherence“ speaker cable is rated with an increase of the sound quality of +19 points (out of 20 points) on the special scale of the „Stereoplay“ magazine. This is the new maximum and the „Coherence“ speaker cable is the only cable which achieved this rating so far.

In the completing listening test the „Coherence“ speaker cable was compared with the previous reference speaker cable of the magazine, the Wire World „Gold Eclipse III“ which achieved +18 points on the above mentioned scale. Although the „Gold Eclipse III“ costs one and a half times more than our „Coherence One SC Duo“ the „Coherence“ cable was the clear winner in every respect.

Given below are some of the key remarks from the test report for the „Coherence One SC Duo“ cable:

The over all statement of the test report is „this is the best speaker cable in the world“ and consequentiallly „the best speaker cable which ever played in our listening room“.

The „Coherence“ Technology from fadel Art

fadel Art is presenting for the first time its revolutionary „Coherence“ cable technology. This conception will make without any doubt a remarkable and a so far unbelievable step on the road to the perfect signal transmission.

The basic idea behind this concept is the knowledge that for an ideal signal transmission in a system, which consists of several components and which consists therefore also of several cable connections, only an identical cable structure for each connection and resulting of this an identical signal velocity will lead to a perfect result. We call this a „coherent“ system. The consequences of such a concep are particulary noticeable with very complex signals, like music signals are. Extensive listening tests have corroborated our theory very clearly – a „coherent“ system is in every respect head and shoulders above a „non coherent“ system, concerning the quality of the music reproduction.

Within the „Coherence“ technology from fadel Art for the first time an identical topology is employed for all cables for the different applications. This results in, that if these cables are used for all connections within a high quality audio system, the signal will find identical conditions on its whole way from the signal source to the speakers and also the signal will be transmitted particularly with an identical velocity.

Technically the „Coherence“ concept is a further development of the remarkable „Silence Technology“ from fadel Art, realized in our „Reference One“ series, which was for the first time able to eliminate the disturbing molecular movements or micro-vibrations inside the conductors. The topology of this system is identified by the use of two different cable types, which are arranged in a totally new way, namely concentrically, and which compared with the „Reference One“ concept is therefore representing only one single cable. The correction of the different signal velocity for low and for high frequencies is realized also by a completely new and unique way, namely by the use of different insulation technologies inside the cables. Because of that, the correction is homogeneously effective at any point of the cable and is not, like with all so far used correction methods, concentrated only at one point of the cable.

This extremely intelligent cable construction is the basis for all cable types like speaker cables, interconnect cables, digital cables and power cords. The optimized adaptation for the individual application is achieved by a special termination at both ends of the cable. For an optimal result consequently the use of the „Coherence“ cables for all kinds of connections is called for.

The „Coherence“ cable technology is representing both technology wise and musically wise the new top level within the cable hierarchy from fadel Art. It confirms us once more in our continous striving for the optimal signal transmission in the sense of the best possible music reproduction.
