Video Cables

The fadel Art video cables are specially designed for this application, because the demands for video cables are significantly different from the demands for cables for audio applications.
Usual video cables are simply a half pair of a normal interconnect cable without taking attention to the specificity of the carried video signal.

But it is a fact that the video or digital signal carrier frequency is about 4 MHz and that therefore a good video cable must be able to handle also high frequency signals without phase rotation and without impedance mismatching.

fadel Art has developed a new concept for video cables which is based on the following technologies. We are using a special magnetic material for a very effective noise filtering. Because the skin-effect is very important at high frequences we are using Litz technology for the conductors. Consequently our video cables have no phase rotation as well as a constant characteristic impedance of about 350 ohms.

As a result fadel Art video cables have very high color and image dynamics. Because of up to 70 per cent noise rejection the image is practically noiseless. Also the micro-informations are more present and the total image transparency is significantly improved.

The "VC One" video cable ist our top model which offers the highest possible quality for its application. It incorporates an improved Litz wire construction with pure silver and silvered copper conductors, calculated for a very low resistance in the high frequency range in order to separate the chrominance and the luminance carried signals perfectly. This cable is available with all terminations used in the video field and will be mainly terminated with Y/C or Peritel connectors.

The "VC Plus" video cable is using a Litz wire construction with pure copper and silvered copper conductors as well as special insulation of polypropylene and air in order to avoid any losses for the video frequencies. This cable is specially recommended for composite signal applications and will be terminated with RCA or BNC connectors.
